The second nitrogen oxide that mixes in the blood damages the vital organs of your body. Apart from this, things like ozone and sulfur dioxide also harm health.

1. Pneumonia
Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. The air sacs can fill with fluid or pus, causing cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills, and difficulty breathing. A variety of organisms can cause pneumonia, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

2. Asthma
Asthma is a lung disease that can be triggered by air pollution. Its airways become inflamed and excess mucus builds up in the lungs. This causes difficulty in breathing.

3. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease-COPD
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that obstructs the flow of air through the lungs. Symptoms include difficulty breathing, cough, mucus production, and wheezing.

4. Lung infection and cancer
Lung infection and cancer, both can be caused by the polluted particles of PM 2.5. It can actually lead to infection and cancer by creating a chronic infection in the lungs.

5. Cardio Vascular Disease
